The  renovation work aims to restore the distinctive character of the Continental Hotel to its previous era, with the same structural footprint as the building was in 1870, provided that it is equipped with all systems to suit the latest systems and standards of five-star hotels while preserving the old historical and architectural form of the hotel.

The project intended to be implemented consists of a five-star hotel with a total capacity of 235 rooms and suites, in addition to 52 commercial stores, 5,100 square meters of administrative space, a group of halls and restaurants, a health club, a gym, and parking areas with a capacity of 580 cars.

Current position :

-The demolition work has been completed by 99%, and the remainder of the demolition of the electrical rooms is completed after the transfer of the transformers is completed.

-The structural reinforcement and steel for the facade overlooking Adly Street have been completed, which has been integrated into the proposed design of the development project and which will be connected to the new building when its construction begins.

-The preparation of drilling and dewatering documents has been completed.

-Integrated design work is underway.
