The company was established in 1980 to manage sound and light shows in many languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Japanese, Polish, Italian and Russian).
The company also has cultural activities such as : Lighting of tourist sites, and other various cultural shows and productions.
In 2003, Misr Company for Sound & Light and Misr Company for Film Production and Distribution were merged into one company under the name of “Misr Company for Sound, Light & Cinema”.
The company also shares in one joint venture operating in the field of cinema production (under liquidation).

Management of Sound and Light shows in Egypt, at the magnificent pharaonic sites (Pyramids of Giza, Temple of Karnak in Luxor and Temples of Philae, Abu Simbel and Edfu in Aswan). The company produces booklets, photos, books, tapes, and videotapes for all activities related to the sound and light projects. The company produces documentary films and motion pictures.
The company also distributes documentary films and motion pictures, on its own behalf and also on behalf of others, inside and outside the country by broadcasting them through different satellite channels as well as opening new global markets for the Egyptian movies.The company has a highly equipped cinematographic archives to preserve its own and others’ films.
